I offer specialised support for students with discalculia and other specific learning differences. Drawing on my background in teaching and occupational therapy, I use structured, step-by-step approaches, and hands on strategies to make maths more accessible. Sessions focus on building strong number understanding, reducing anxiety, and helping students experience success at their own pace.
Curriculum Support (Keeping up and Catching up)
For students who need a little help to keep up with classroom learning, I provide targeted support aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum. Whether it's filling gaps, reinforcing key concepts, or building confidence, sessions are designed to complement what your child is learning at school and help them stay on track.
Extension and Challenge
For students who enjoy maths and are ready to be challenged, I offer extension sessions that go beyond the classroom program. These sessions deepen understanding, develop problem solving skills, and encourage flexible thinking. The goal is to keep learners engaged, motivated, and excited about maths.
